“Hey everybody, Scott Theaman here from Beyond Marketing. And if you want to grow your TMS or mental health practice, I’m going to give you the three things that you need to grow. Number one, you need to learn how to attract new people in the door. Attraction is all about marketing. How do we create a compelling message? How do we tell a story in an appropriate way that captures their attention and does it effectively?
And then number two is scheduling. Now we need to, once we have the attention and the marketing and the leads, now we need to schedule people effectively. How do we make sure, at that first contact, it’s done effectively, it puts them at ease, it makes them want to show up, and it’s an overall good experience for the person who’s depressed on the other end of the phone. That’s number two is scheduling.
And then number three is enrolling. How do we create a system, a sales system, inside of your office to be able to enroll new patients into care predictably, consistently, month over month, without fail? You do that through a system. If it’s just haphazard and it’s referrals and it’s up and down, you need a system. You need a sales system. You need a way that you need to identify who is speaking to the person. You need to identify how they’re speaking to the person, what script they’re using, or framework they’re using, and that needs to be duplicatable across MDs, across nurse practitioners, across techs, whoever it may be.
They’re also, and this is number with to number three, enrollment and conversion, there also needs to be a choreography within the office. Who is greeting them? What do they say? Who’s walking them to the consultation room? Are you showing them the machines and the ketamine and the different options or whatever it may be in your clinic? There needs to be a strategic choreography throughout this whole thing to make it very effective.

You need to do it in an effective way that tells a compelling story. Number two, you need effective scheduling. How do we get people excited about showing up so that we create that emotional connection?

How do we create a system so that it can be duplicated across doctors, locations, staff, everybody, and how do we make everybody feel good in the process, your staff and your new patients.
