“Hey everybody, this is Scott Theaman, talking to you about how to develop your business and how to market effectively. Today we’re going to talk about the best organic content that you can put out, and that is testimonials.
Number one, why put out content? Well, you have to realize where people’s eyeballs are and you need to buy attention in 2020 and beyond. Even though you may not like social media or Google ads or any of this stuff, it doesn’t matter what you like, it matters what your customers and what your patients like. You’re not doing it for you, you’re doing it for them. Whenever you’re taking action of developing content, whether it’s video like this, or whether you’re getting content of a testimonial, it’s always for the sake of helping more patients, which is what you want to do. The best type of content is testimonials.
And look, you don’t need a Hollywood studio to do any of this. You can literally take your cellphone and record a testimonial of their situation. What was their situation like before? And what are the results after, now that they’re working with you? That is the simplest way to get a testimonial. How long did it take? What were the outcomes they achieved? And how do they feel now? And what would they say to somebody on the fence who’s thinking about your service? That’s the easiest way to get a testimonial. You could use your cellphone.
And here’s one more tip I’ll give you. Just make sure that you’re facing the light. If there’s a window, let’s say there’s a window over here that the sun is shining in through, that’s a great way to have you lit up properly. If the window’s behind you like it is here, we have a light today, but if the window’s behind you and you don’t have any other light, don’t do that. Have the light hitting your face, hitting you, super simple.
Go through this video again, write down these questions and this is a really great way for you to get the best organic content. And it costs you nothing other than your time. Look, you want to grow your business, you got to invest the time anyway, so invest the time, get with some of your raving fan customers or patients and make it happen.
